I did a search and determined the problem is software based, but the resolutions I found were for ASUS and Alienwares with the same issues.

The exact registry they used to fix the problem don't exist on this model, does anyone know how to fix this. Annoying as hell to have the screen minimize while your pvping.

    Game Specifically is SWTOR.

Problem seems to be with the included hotkey software, I killed the executable and it doesn't do it. Am i missing anything by completely disabling this software?

Can probably disable it from startup in msconfig if you know which program is it. I haven't ran into this problem with the games I play on the P150EM yet but I had this problem on ASUS G73JW when playing Dx11 games and it turns out to be the Bluetooth software's Tray.exe. Does your model come with bluetooth installed?

Unfortunately it seems that hotkey.exe needs to be running if you want your backlit keyboard to function.

I found the same issue too, after disabling hotkey.exe on startup the backlight went back to blue, the light level control still works tho.

Thanks Hack, I disable it after everything is up and it seems to work and leave the keyboard lit. Sucks that I don't see a software option for this.

I had this problem with my NP9370. They sent me to FTP site for Clevo for driver number 6.0100. then you right click on hotkey icon and uncheck the box K/B INDICATORS. Since then problem solved

I've been seeing similar issues to this lately. Interesting news on the 6.0100 driver. Glad you (thanks to hackness) were able to get it working for yourself, though!
