Just received mine today, I've already noticed that the tab key is not very responsive. Tapping it like any other key does not cause it to register, instead you have to press fairly hard on it to actually work. Rest of the keyboard appears to be working well, and I can see the tab key requiring such a hard press being quite annoying (possibly tiring, really have to press down), especially while gaming and unsure if I'll actually be able to deal with it. Has anyone else had this problem or any solution? Thanks

I've had similar things on keyboards happen if there's a little bit of dirt or something under the key. Before RMAing it I'd try using some compressed air or a small brush or something to make sure it's not just something under the key causing the issue.

I've tried using compressed air, no change. Really shouldn't be anything underneath the key since its new. Setting everything up as I speak, hoping I can find a way to fix it without having to RMA or something like that. Been a long wait, having to send it back will definitely be upsetting. Upon further notice, appears caps lock and ` are having a slight issue as well. Not as bad as tab, and likely acceptable, but it appears to be that section of the keyboard.

Well keep in mind that these PCs are being built on basically an assembly line. Something getting in the keyboard is not out of the question even if they're being built in like a giant clean room (which they're probably not anyway).
Having said that, it sounds like it's not just that. I wouldn't imagine they'd require you to send in the entire notebook; I'd think they'd just send you a new keyboard which you could install yourself if you feel comfortable with that. -
If they sent me a new keyboard that would be a lot better then sending the whole thing back, as said it functions well, playing guild wars 2 stress test on it atm and its working perfectly, aside from the tab key really, and to an extent the caps lock & tilde. Guess I'll contact my reseller and see what can be done about it. Thanks

Problem solved. Looking at the laptop keyboard from a side view, the right side of the keyboard was pretty much flush with the laptop itself. When looking at a side view of the keyboard from the left side, it was lifted, you could see underneath the keyboard, which explained the lack of my keys working on the left side (caps lock, tab, `, etc.) Just had to take off the front plate, readjust a bit, and clip it back on. Now the keyboard is level, and all the keys are working.
