I cannot power my laptop on. When I plug my power adapter in, the power and battery lights stay orange. No fans turn on, nothing at all. I can't seem to find anything regarding this light color. My step son told me that when his friend plugged it in, there was a slight spark between the laptop and plug.

Sounds like a board problem if it doesn't react at all to the power button. Does this also happen if you try to power up on AC power only (battery removed)?

Yes it does still happen. Battery light does not turn on without the battery in, but with it installed it is orange. I removed the battery and power cable and also held the power butting down for 30 seconds and tried again with the same results.

If there's no reaction at all I'd reach out to your reseller or Sager to look into repairs, there's not much more you can do to diagnose if this is happening and you already cleared the EC.

I purchased it from Xotic. Is it something that I can send in to them?

We can help out with an RMA yes, but it will need to go to Sager for the estimate, you can fill out a request on our website under the support tab at the top :)

Orange lights denote power being delivered to the system; orange on the battery if the battery is charging, and orange on the other indicator for when the system is powered down but connected to the charger. The LEDs should go green for one indicator light when the system is powered on, and the battery one when the battery is fully charged.

Agreeing with Tanner: It sounds your main board kicked the bucket. :vbfrown:
