Just a quick question about the NP9261's memory---does it actually run at 800 MHz, or should I just stick with PC5300/PC5400?

    Thanks in advance.

It will run at 800Mhz, otherwise they wouldn't offer it as an option when you buy the laptop. This isn't your standard laptop, it is the best in performance and it offers the best out there at the moment.

Yeah, it is. Mine currently runs two 2GB slices at 800MHz but in due time I will upgrade to bigger and faster chippies. I wouldn't be amazed if this rig would run 8GB at 1333MHz in the final years of its professional life (3-4 years).

The D900C has a desktop P965, so it can run 800MHz memory.
