    im just wandering guys how long is your boot time for this particular sager laptop with raid 0 enable.

    the reason i ask is because my boot time(from the time i push the "on" button)
    takes like 2-4 min (not sure but its around that time) and im on raid 0

    i have 2 identical seagate 320GB 7200RPM sata II HDD

    is it normal? if it is, i might just go with a single configuration...

    I have Raid 0. I never bothered to time it, I will do it now on the next reboot. It sounds reasonable if a little slow.

    It takes about 55 seconds on my machine from pressing the power button to booting into Windows 7.

    I have a 9650 processor and two Intel 160GB G2 SSDs in Raid 0.

    Boot time will also be highly variable depending on what kind of programs and processes you load on bootup as well. If you're loading up a lot of items on startup, that can greatly increase your boot time.
