How hard is it to replace a screen on a NP9262?

And, how much would you pay for that system with

    1920x1200 - 4 stuck pixels
    3x320gb @ 7200

    Standard warranty used...

its very simple to replace a LCD panel.

a panel goes for $100-200 depending on resolution.

less than 10-15 minutes to do.

that system is fully loaded... so worth around $3000.

easily you can get at least $2500-2600.

you will want to look for:
    LG.Philips LP171WU1

that would be the perfect replacement for your current panel.

to add if you buy a tl version of that screen you will have to remove brackets from the top and bottom. the a4 version does not have those most of the time but is not as nice as the tl version

the a4 version almost always is grainy and is not nearly as bright as the tl version. the a4 is usually measured out at around 180-just under 200 and the tl version is usually is near 280 or so on a colorimeter and the tl has far better viewing angles than the a4 does. i have owned and sold many of both..

smartmicro is great to deal with but they are very slow in refunds and returns. and they are very expensive compared to most other vendors but you are gauranteed to get the exact model they list

i can promise you if you try both side by side you will see a HUGE difference in the two....

Okay I will take your word for it. So is this what I want:
LP171WU1 (TL)(A1) LAPTOP LCD SCREEN 17" WUXGA GLOSSY
What does the (A1) mean? Does it matter what is in the second set of "()"?
