A good place to start is the sticky entitled Clevo Guide and, in particular, for good links, the latest post by the Guide's author, Gophn, which post is here.

Was that sarcasm, or just jaded disdain for spelling, punctuation, grammar, and noncryptic sentences?

I assume that, since you've been around since Sept. '07, you know your way around the forums; however, since it's Friday, here are the other UK-specific resellers listed on Gophn's Clevo Guide:

    1) Evesham Technology; and

    2) AJP Computers.

Keep in mind, there are other EU-based resellers listed in the Guide - those should be almost as good as a strictly UK-based reseller. In addition, a number of the non-UK based resellers ship internationally (word to the wise: don't go with USPS shipping if you order from the US).

Now, as far as the physical specs of the Clevo D901C/Sager NP9262 go, these are the specs posted on Sager's NP9262 webpage:

Weight: 11.55LBs with Battery Pack (that's approx. 5.25kg)
    Dimensions: 11.75" (w) x 15.5" (d) x 2.35" (h) (approx. 30cm(w) x 40cm(d) x 6cm(h))

Just for laughs, those dimensions give a volume of approximately 430 cubic inches, or 7,200 cubic centimetres (7.2l). Amusingly enough, that gives it almost as much volume as the displacement volume (460cid) of the V8 in the old '76 Lincoln Continental MkIV I used to own many eons ago :( :

(though mine was yellow, with a dark brown vinyl roof)

With a bit more patience and some browsing, you should come across any number of references to what it's like to carry this thing around - it ain't fun but it can be accomplished with the right carrying case - a backpack seems to be preferable, although don't count on being able to fit it into a knapsack already chokkers with textbooks.

That good enough, or do you want a cuppa with that, too?

No worries; sorry for being a little snide in my reply - sometimes text misses all of the useful nuances. On top of which, I don't even speak English, just 'murican. :D
