    Hi all,

I know NP9262 has 1 fan for CPU, 1 for RAM, 2 for GPU (if sli). I just notice that most of the time that my RAM fan is not running, however, CPU and GPU fans do. Is this normal? Thanks. :)

Ok.. theres actually One fan over the RAM and CPU... the fourth fan is over the large heatsink that doesnt actually cover anything. It drags the heat over from the CPU onto the large heatsink at the end which is then cooled. So the ram fan just kinda cools the RAM and then goes out through the mini cpu heatsink. But the main thing that cools the CPU is the standalone heatsink on the end.

so mainly, the RAM never gets hot enuf to need its own fan. and its normal.. but once u hit FN+1 they ALL go max... if that makes u feel better.

Is there any way to control the fans, I want to put them to run faster but still not at ful blast. I mean leave the video card fan on atuo and put the proc fan faster.

Thats it.. ur computer does it for u... It will auto itself to the speed that will keep ur processor at a good temperature.. sometimes ill game for HOURS on CoD4 and Supreme commander and forget FN1 :-o ... nevertheless... nothing bad happens wen i check the temps cuz it auto'ed itself to high... and then wen i shut the game wen lower.
