I've heard a lot of amazing things about the Sager NP9262. One thing people have said that makes me afraid to pick this machine up is that the keyboard is so recessed that your forearms end up sitting against the bottom lip of the notebook; basically your arms would be uncomfortably leaning on the machine slightly below your wrist.

Is anyone able to post a picture of their hand(s) using the NP9262? I'd be curious to see how comfortable the keyboard looks to use. I currently have an iBuyPower notebook I'm psyched to replace, though I will say I can comfortably type on it for hours and hours and hours.

    I find it quite comfortable.
It's even better with the NC2000 cooler because it angles the keyboard so there is no pressure from the notebook on your wrists.

Is there such a thing as a comfortable laptop keyboard?

It does have usb ports so you can use a regular keyboard with it as well as a mouse so you don't have to use the touchpad.

Please forgive me if I am sounding sarcastic, I just find it had to believe that someone would avoid buying this laptop because the keyboard might be uncomfortable. Everyone has thier own opinion of comfort and what maybe great to me can be terrible to you. Even if I thought it were uncomfortable, I would buy this laptop again because nothing else compares to it.

Not that my opinion means anything, but I think my lappy has the most comfortable keyboard of all the 9262s out there!

well the bottom edge of the laptop does get intrusive after awhile, especially after a 3 hour gaming session. So i can see a notebook cooler the tiltes the laptop could help. The keyboard are not clicky sounding (if thats a word) or not mushy, it's right in between. what you do need to worry about is the light leakage on the LCD it's starting to bother me, it's mostly at the bottom corners.

    hope that helped.

I travel very often; while I do bring a USB wireless mouse around with me, dragging a dedicated gaming keyboard with me everywhere isnt always an option. Thats why I'd like to make sure I can comfortably use the keyboard for hours at a time. 8-10 hours pulling a full workday where your wrist is leaning uncomfortably on the edge of the casing would not be fun.
