Today Sager did announce that the NP9270 is being delayed for additional testing.

    Here's the official from Sager:
We regret to inform those of you that have been patiently waiting for the release of the Sager NP9270 / Clevo P270WM that we expect further delays in availability of this system. Over the last three weeks, Sager and Clevo have been working together testing different motherboard revisions for this system. Despite this effort, we simply have not been able to achieve system stability that is satisfactory for our customers. We have concluded the only way to move forward is to redesign the motherboard on this unit from scratch. We will be providing updates on the launch schedule of the unit as they become available.

So, the only reason I haven't already purchased the NP9170 is that I really want the dual graphics card, and to a lesser extent the processor. Blah. So is Xotics selling anything that fits this bill?

Is there a date for when the next ETA will be determined? Are we talking summer here, or next year?

Considering the 7970M is rumored to be about as powerful as dual 675M's... I'm not sure if waiting is worth it. Maybe wait until official reviews of the 7970M are released.

There are no 2X GPU options we have now. As awakeN mentioned 1x 7970M is close to 2x 675M but then you could have gotten 2x 7970M.

No ETA at all at this time. Since its been pushed back a few times already they dont want to make any ETA's

thanks. yeah, I had my hopes set on dual 7970m. Alienware has a dual 675m on their m18x and a single 7970m on their m17x. I tried to ask them if there were plans to offer a dual 7970m on their m18x and the customer support rep was so freakin' unhelpful, I'm not going to give them my money :p

Note to dell: if someone is willing to spend over 4k on a laptop please connect them to a customer service rep that understands the product and speaks English.

Check out the X7200, it's very similar to the P270WM and it will support 7970M CF soon.
