    Can Windows XP 32bit be installed on either the NP9280 or NP9850? I dont see any official XP drivers available and heard that are BIOS limitations, is this correct?

    the m980 bios doesnt support xp, no fix atm

    there is a beta bios for the 9280 for vista but u have to ask clevo direct

    You mean there is a beta bios for the 9280 for XP (Vista already natively supported, right)? How does one go about requesting a beta BIOS from Clevo?

    What is it specifically on the BIOS of these machines that prevents them from installing XP? Ive never hear of a BIOS being a limitation for Windows XP as the oprating system... confused...

    its the raid drivers i believe :)

    I havent requested one from Clevo but i believe you need to request it via your OEM vendor

    look at the other threads for peope who are talking about it

    in short SLI 280's beat the crap out of the solos 280 regardless of if you have an I7 or not
