This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Okay, I remember a post here or elsewhere mentioning a high-pitched noise coming from the laptop (not the power brick). I hear it too and found out that it doesn't occur with certain power schemes. It isn't a priority for me to figure out right now, but perhaps this points someone in the right direction to eliminating the noise.
