Easy question, does the D900F support port multiplier via eSata in any way??

    Thanks in advance

Yes, just get an external eSATA port multiplier and plug it into the eSATA port on the D900F. You must be using Vista or Windows 7.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead but...

What do you mean by external eSATA port multiplier?
(Where would I get something like that?)
So are you saying the NP9280 will not support over 2TB?

I was looking to buy this RAID enclosure:
Mediasonic PRORAID 4-BAY Enclosure USB 3.0 + eSATA

Would it not recognize anything over 2TB when plugged in?

By external eSATA port multiplier do you mean something like this?
    BYTECC BT-ECES2 eSATAII Expresscard

I cannot find anything that would plug into the eSATA directly.

the tech there does not know the answer and is waiting for a reply from a Sager engineer.

    EDIT: New Update
Just heard back from XOTICPC and they say the eSATA does not support port multiplying.
