On the 9370, how does one access the ram under the keyboard? Is there a little "hole" like on the 8130 that you pop a small pin through to push out the speaker grill?
Just curious, since the manual i downloaded said "that RAM is *NOT* accessible".

u can always try and pop the grill open with a small flathead screwdriver from the top, thats how i do it on my machine
just insert it gently in between the grill and the chassis and pull the screwdriver up to urself. much easier and faster than using that ominous hole in my case, for example

I'd recommend the hole since it is less likely for case scratching to occur

Yes becaus3 it involves removing case panels. So long as you are careful you should be good.

All these guides say don't bend keyboard ribbon cable. My god I've bent and straightened and re-bent and all kinds of stuff my keyboard for over 3 years and it always worked fine. O_O. NEW KEYBOARDS SUCK. OLD KEYBOARDS OP. DO NOT TAKE THESE CAPS LOCKED LETTERS SERIOUSLY =D.

If you intend to work on the same machine over and over it always pays to take care as they can deteriorate.
-
Yeah bending those tiny wires can fail them quickly.

That along with plastic clips and even screwholes/plastic support rings.
-
cant even count the number of those damn lil plastic clips ive already destroyed
luckily those are easily replaceable by a piece of folded paper with the right thickness to keep the cable contact ends securely in place

I've not broken any clips on motherboards but I have had the metal plated ends shred.
