    Hello all,

I just purchased a almost fully loaded NP9390. Every time, I begin to install the drivers for my laptop, I receive a BSOD soon after the computer boots into windows. Then it system restores back to a driver less state. To be more specific, I think its when I install the ATI drivers. I have duel 8970M's if that makes a difference. Does anyone have any idea what could be the issue?

I also tried to install the Beta Drivers on their site, but the link is down?!

All help would be greatly appreciated!

I realllllly don't want to RMA my laptop, but if it is necessary Ill do it.

who did you buy from and did you get a driver disc with the lappy?
clevo drivers have to be loaded in the order on the disc or they can conflict.

it could be the dual graphics causing the load problem but if its brand new out of the box i would suggest opening the base and checking nothing has worked lose during transit like the hard drive, ram etc.
also is it windows 7 or 8

i know nothing about amd drivers but you can find the beta > http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/729247-amd-mobility-catalyst-13-8-beta2.html

Its Windows 8 and I ordered it directly from Sager. I just tried the new beta drivers and it causes by computer to freeze during mid-installation. Upon reboot, it reverts back to before the driver was installed.

I have checked the connections of the hard drives and ram. I have yet to check how the video cards are set, I shall do that later.

Super weird. I am using the computer now but without any drivers installed (beside some of the windows 8 defaults). Only inconvenience is I need a cable connected for internet and this horrible resolution. Not to mention I cant game!

Here's another thing. I usually check the website for the most recent drivers because I know those on the driver CD are a bit dated, but on the website, I only see like 2 drivers for my laptop and they are both in the "Misc" section, whereas on my P175 (think that's the model), there were a dozen or so drivers.

Maybe a bad stick of RAM? Remove them all except one and see if the install goes smoothly.

If one of your graphics cards is bad then it would cause that behaviour, I think you need to contact your reseller.

Possibly a bad crossfire cable, even. It's probably high time you contact your supplier if you haven't already.

Would this also be the case on dual GTX780M's? I keep getting a BSoD when trying to run 3DMark 11, GPU-Z and Champions Online. When I turn on SLI, I get an Error 34 saying that Windows stopped the hardware.

Removed all the ram sticks and added one from my G74 and still no luck. I'll try to install a SSD i have laying around and try to install driver on that.

Ok, I installed the ssd and installed the video drivers (the ones that usually BSOD/Freeze the PC) and so far so good. Weird....

Bad news is that this isn't my laptop, I am just trouble shooting for a friend and he aint getting my SSD and I don't think he wants me to keep his 1TB

So the SSD is bad? You can try it in your G74 and see if it BSOD's on you.

Nah, he had a HDD in there and I tried to install the video drivers on my SDD which already had windows 8 (cracked) installed on it. No probs. So I thought maybe it was a bad OS installation so I reinstalled W8 using the disc that came with the laptop. No luck. Then I tried a pirated copy (testing purposes only) which what was also installed on the SSD and I still got no luck. Soooo, I am just gonna recommend he get sager to look at it. He said he ran an off brand gpu/cpu stress tester before he had issues (he is a n00b, I know). This is probably where the problem is. Maybe re-flashing vBIOS would work? I'm not gonna do it either way, dont want to brick a card on this 2k dollah machine. Any idea how long this shipping/repair process is gonna take? I told him 1 month xD.

BTW, keep up the good work at XoticPC! I referred you guys a sale or 2!
