I was curious if Sager has come out with the UEFI thing yet because from what I understand that makes Windows 8 boot up in around 8 seconds or so.

If you have UEFI secure boot, it has to be a fresh install. Normal uses MBR, Windows 8 secure boot requires GPT which means you have to reformat your drive. So that means he probably does not have UEFI/Secure Boot. If he did, his boot would start immediately to loading Windows.

To answer OP's question, the answer is yes, just email your reseller or Sager. It's version 14, whether you have Sager or Style Note bios.

Like Windows 8 automatically sets up secure boot for me? Because I installed Windows 8 just like any other OS

Then you don't have secure boot, UEFI.

So I need the latest BIOS or something to do this? If so, where is the fastest place to get these files because Sager is trying to tell me to wait 1.5 months for the files.....

I was asking the OP to see why his install was taking 20 seconds to load when mine only takes 12 seconds or so.

Any other things you could think that could be slowing my SSD down?

Okay, so for Windows eight you need the latest bios update. And then you need to do a Windows 7 32 bit install and then a fresh install to windows eight upgrade 64-bit is that correct. Is that the way to install a fresh install of Windows using the Windows upgrade Pro?
