The only reason I am posting this is if Nvidia is releasing a vid card that has almost the same performance as their top of the line GTX card, yet offer this at around $200-$250, can you imagine or hope what this could do for the mobile area?
I am guess the yields at 65nm was soo good that they can offer this price and the performance is just amazing with the die shrink, I am really hoping this will translate to the mobile area and the cost will be affordable.

Yeah, I can't wait. I've been holding off on my notebook purchase the last 9 months for a DX10 card that could overtake the 7950GTX.
-
And you'll have it very soon.

iT'S got the clocks of the 8800Ultra, except 6 fewer stream processors, and more transistors so they're saying it will most likely be FASTER than the 8800GTX, or even touch 8800Ultra performance..

I bought this card for my desktop today, can't wait.
Here's the lowdown: it beats a GTS 640 MB in a lot of benchmarks; only in extreme high-resolution games with a lot of AA and AF will the GT be slightly under the GTS in terms of performance due to the 256-bit bus and the slightly larger bus in the GTS.
In terms of GTX performance, it doesn't quite reach there, but it gets close; some around 8-10% less performance of the GTX!
The price, that speaks for itself. $250 MSRP is a hard deal to beat. -
That is what is getting me very excited for the mobile version. If there is a die shrink to 65nm, we will benefit then, in terms cost and performance.
