    Hello everyone,

Few weeks before, I got a Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD drive for my Clevo P750ZM but unfortunately the bios was unable to recognize it or boot from it after i have successful ran a clean Window 10 pro installation on it.

I saw some thread in the forum said that Prema Bios v2 will make the drive work seamlessly with the machine but can't found it on the Prema Mod Website.

Do anyone know where to contact @Prema and ask for help?

    Thank you.

Prema took his mod BIOSes offline due to shennanigans by other people profiting from his work, and the mods are now only available through Prema partners.

Unfortunately the Prema Partners only sell the BIOS with a new system.

    Thanks god.

Prema just PM and sent me the Bios.

He is so friendly and helpful. ;)

Although i am not really a tech person but Prema Bios is easy enough for me to install.

The only thing that confuse me during the installation is the instruction asked me to create a "MS-DOS" USB using "Rufus" but actually "Rufus" had replaced "MS-DOS" with "FreeDOS" which is theoretically the same things.

Add all the bios files into the USB and then press "F7" to get started. The progress was very scarey since this was my first time to flash a laptop bios but prema bios has the quality to make everything smooth.

Around 5 minutes later, everything get done and i saw the Prema Mod logo. There are so many setting within the Prema Bios but speak frankly don't touch them unless you know what you are doing. :p

Select F3 for the default or optimise setting and turn on my UEFI to bot my Samsung 970 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD. Another thing that worth to mention is there was no option to select the NVMe as the booting drive , you can only turn on the UEFI to prevent other drive from booting.

All done. My NEW super fast window 10 show in front of me.

Thanks again @Prema Unlock all the potential that locked by greedy manufacture.

Hi, I'm looking to do the exact same thing, and had no luck contacting the manufacture (novatech) for an updated BIOS to support this. @Prema is there any way to get a copy of this as well?

    Many thanks

I have a XMG U505 (P751ZM) and in the bios I can not see the samsung SSD 970 evo.

How can I contact to @Prema?

Anyone have a copy of the prema bios and can send me?

    Thanks.

Get a pair of decent SATA drives in raid 0 and you will basically be at the same level.

I believe there's a 5 post minimum before you can send PMs, which you now have.

You can also tag him here ( @Prema). Keep in mind, he's pretty busy...

You're more than welcome to contact us for a BIOS update, only we're not a Prema partner; I don't know how far the official Clevo BIOS will get you.

If you haven't already, reach out to us through our site and provide the Prostar serial number (not the one beginning in NKP). We can go from there.

The official bios will read the drive as a non bootable storage device. So as a game drive no issue, as a boot drive, no dice.

    Hello,

I Have a Clevo P751ZM and I have the same problem. I would like to make my ssd m.2 the primary one running the windows OS, but it does not allow it. Another question is if I can add a pascal MXM 3.0b card with a modded bios?

@Prema if you see this could you help me to install your bios? I would really appreciate it... Or someone els that had the same problem and was as well helped.

    Thanks in advance.

The Pascal cards will work in any machine with an eDP connector basically so long as the heatsink fits.

I don't believe the Prema BIOS does anything to improve that. What card did you get and what panel does your machine have?

    @Meaker@Sager The display is a B156HAN01.2 eDP 30 pins, and I did a test with a Quadro P5000 MXM 3.0b.
After installing it, when I went to the bios the GPU was as unknown. Im new on this so not sure what or if is it possible :s

Hi @Danishblunt but then when I tried to install the drivers it wasnt able to recognise the card either :/ So you are saying that it should work despite bios didnt recognize it? Or that I should do something to make it to work? Thanks in advance!

That's also normal, you need modded drivers.

If those drivers don't wokr then do the following:
    go to device manager
    find graphicscard
    rightclick microsoft adapter
    properties
    details
    hardware ID

Copy the first line and send it here. i'll then make a modded driver for you which you can download andd install.

Hi @Danishblunt, I had to do a pause because it was my work machine and I had to revert to previous gpu and now Im back to try to make it work again.
So I did follow all the steps and did try versions 417.75 and 399.28 with different configs without success :/
Do you think you can help me once more and generate drivers for me? I would hugely appreciate some help :/
So I did copy the first line from hardware id:
    PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1BB6&SUBSYS_75001558&REV_A1

Regarding GPU situation being solved, Im still unable to upgrade bios to @Prema ...
I did flash two different pens with rufus and freeDOS, and changed bios options to:
    - Interl(R) Rapid Start Technology: Disabled
    - Secure Boot: Disabled
    - UEFI Boot: Disabled
And still Im unable to see the pen both on f7 neither on bios, only "Windows Bootable Manager"...
    Any toughs?

I need Prema Bios for my Clevo P750ZM-G to get my NVMe to work as well. My local Prema partner here in Brazil is located in another state and it's expensive to go there for them install the bios for me. I sent a tweet to @Prema a couple days ago but no response yet. It would be very appreciated if some of you guys can ask Prema to get in touch with me. I just bought my NVMe and I can't use it :(

    Apparently not.

I just asked them about doing a remote install. They can't do it. I'm very frustrated with all this.

New info: I asked them if would be any cost to install the BIOS for me and they said it would cost me R$ 80 (about US$ 21).

Yep, they are called Avell. They also make it difficult to figure out the original manufacturer and model of their products because they change the names. They sold the Clevo P750ZM-G as "Avell G1565 FIRE XR2" at the time. I bought from them 3 years ago and my warranty period has ended.
