I updated my bios to .10 today and now I can not get the bluetooth device to start with fn+F12 or anything else..

I downloaded and installed some bluetooth drivers that where linked in a thread for an 8660 that no longer was auto loading the bluetooth device, it was the drivers for a 9262 i believe which are different then what my 5796 used..At least it installed different software, which says my hardware will not start.

Sagers website has Bluetooth drivers for the 9262 but not the 5796 or 5797 or even the 8660...Makes me wonder if the Bluetooth drivers are built into the chipset drivers perhaps??

Any info would be much appreciated...Not having my bluetooth mouse is very annoying... :)

    Thank you in advance!

Bluetooth drivers should come with your OS and also with whatever device you're using with bluetooth, not clevo/etc. Try that? (drivers for whatever bluetooth device you're using from the manufacturer site, if your OS ones seem to be broken)

No it was the bluetooth for the laptop, so when i would hit Fn+F12 it would turn on...

Actually just giving up my search and turning the computer off for the night was the cure, it magically started working again..Yay!

On a side note has anyone ever had to re-enter there vista key after doing a bios update?? I had to do that last night, and i must say trying to copy the key from the bottom of the notebook was no easy task lol.. +1 to camera phones with auto focusing lenses.
