    Hi,

My xtremenotebooks.com laptop just quit reaching the post screen. Since my warranty has expired they want $95 + shipping just to look at it. Since I am A+ certified myself I would prefer to repair myself. So far I have been unable to locate a service manual and haven't been able to disassemble the laptop on my own. I have plenty of experience with desktop pc's, but little with notebook repair. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

Try to pm Gophn - I believe he's got a D900K as well (or maybe a D900T) - to see if he has the service manual, or can point you in the right direction. For what it's worth, the user manual (Clevo's user manuals are usually more detailed than the ones I've seen from other companies) can be downloaded from Clevo's website; the direct d/l link is here.

Shyster1, I'll try and reach Gophn. I still have my user manual and it only discusses common upgrades-not complete disassembly. Thanks for your quick reply.
