Hello everyone, i haven't been on for awhile and this question has probably been answered a million times. But i have a Go 7950 gtx and was wondering if someone can post the actually link to where i can download the update for it. So i don't have to go look at the website. I need the latest driver for it. My COD4 is still doing this glitching thing where stuff turns black including the characters. If someone can post me the link where it can take me to the page where all i have to do is click download id very much appreciate it.

Is there a certain way id have to install it. For example would you recommend i remove the old driver for the video card from the add/remove programs restart and then install the new one and then restart agian and it all should work fine??

    What are some suggestions?

    Thanks Matt

For your needs I'd recommend 169.09 drivers. You can get them here.

Steps to install them correctly. (Make sure you have downloaded the driver unzipped it to your desktop and replaced the .inf files as per laptopvideo2go's instructions.) (Also make sure you have driver cleaner 1.5 downloaded from 3dguru.com and installed!)

    1. Set your resolution as low as possible. I.e. 640x480 @ 16 bit or 8 bit color.

    2. Uninstall your Nvidia drivers from the control panel.

    3. Go to My computer, properties, hardware, device manager and uninstall both of your 7950's.

    4. Reboot your computer to safe mode.

    5. Click cancel when it wants to autoinstall drivers for your 7950's.

    6. Run driver cleaner to remove the old leftover driver parts. (You can also ru n CCLeaner's registry part if you wish)

    7. Boot into windows normally.

    8. Click cancel when it wants to auto install the drivers.

    9. Go back to device manager and find one of the 7950's with the yellow exclamation next to it.

    10. Choose to install the driver manually. Select the location that you downloaded it to.

    11. When it wants to install the 2nd 7950 card choose cancel.

    12. Reboot your system.

    13. As above go back to device manager and now install the 2nd 7950 card manually and select the downloaded location for it to install from.

    14. Reboot your system.

    15. Enable SLI in the control panel.

Hope this helps you. Its a pain in the rear but one of the best methods I've found for installing and getting SLI to work.

You still have to uninstall your old driver follow steps to step 8.

After step 8 you can just run the setup file in the folder that you unzipped to. Again, make sure that you replaced the .inf file with the modded .inf file before you do.
