I just received my NP2090 this week and I've been having problems with the software that I regularly use. I have the Vista 64 and rhapsody and m-audio software and hardware wouldn't install.

My plan is to get another internal hard drive and install Vista 32 and keep the current one as an external storage. I don't know a lot about hard drives and their differences from each other and their compatibility so please let me know about the important things.

I'll be using CAD, Photoshop and some recording/music software. Thanks in advance guys! :)

First I do not see the connection between the soft that doesnt install and a new harddrive.
Second you have not stated which drive you have and why didn't you get the right drive from the start.

Anyway, for the new drive you need to specify your needs for at least storage cappacity and speed you prefer so we can help you.

Also is there a set budget for your new drive?
