I made a thread in the accessories forum but have yet to get a response, so I was hoping the helpful Clevo community could help. Below is what I posted in my previous thread.
I am looking for a monitor, that will mostly be used for gaming, I have narrowed it down to two choices.
Newegg.com - ASUS VS229H-P Black 21.5" 5ms (GTG) HDMI IPS-Panel LED-Backlit Widescreen LCD Monitor 250 cd/m2 ASCR 50000000:1
or
Newegg.com - ASUS VS Series VS247H-P Black 23.6" 2ms LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 50000000:1 (ASCR)
I don't know much about monitors, and need help deciding. The size isn't that important to me, I just want the best performance. I heard that IPS monitors were nice but had more input lag, is this important? I would be willing to look at other options if they were significantly better. I don't want to spend more than $200.

IPS has much better color accuracy and MUCH better viewing angles.
The input lag you won't notice unless you are a professional gamer or very very twitchy like in sc2.
The latency is 5ms for IPS and 2ms for the TN.
Not so bad either way. -

For gaming you want the lowest response time so the 2ms is the better option. If you were more concered with colors like for photo editing then the IPS would be better. For you go with the second option.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I was wondering what the smallest 1920x1080p monitor is?
I'm also interested in getting a monitor, but don't have a lot of room so I need to get a mid-size one & wall-mount it.
