I currently have a Xotic PC p370sm3 machine. I ordered a Eurocom p570wm a week and a half ago. Now that I finally got a sdd for the panther 5, I can't get it to work. Lights turn on but there is nothing on the screen (no bios screen or anything). I flashed the vbios with the instructiions that the eurocom sales rep told me on the p370sm3 machine.:

You do NOT have the correct vbios for a 780m in a Panther 5

I have attached the proper vbios.

    And here are flashing instructions.

Rename the attached file from .ziz to .zip

    Making a bootable USB Key:

First Download the HP Drive key Boot Utility

Second Download the win98 system files

Steps to Create Bootable USB Drive

    1. Extract the Win98 system files to a directory

    2. Install the HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool and run the program.

    3. Select the Device and the File system from the drop down menus

    4. Select Quick format

    5. Select Create a Dos startup Disk

    6. Select using dos system files located at: Select where you extracted the win98 system files to

    7. Click start and follow directions

    8. Extract the vbios files to a folder called vbios on the USB drive

    To Flash the VBios

    1. Make sure AC Adapter is plugged in.

    2. Press F7 for the boot menu, boot from usb drive

    3. Change directory to bios (CD vbios)

    4. Run nvflash.Bat this process may take few minutes.

    5. Answer yes to anything it asks

    6. After flash is finished, please turn off the system.

    7. Replug AC Adapter one times.

Afterwards, after moving the card to the panther 5, lights don't turn on at all anymore and still no picture. So I removed the cmos battery and held the power button for 10 secs. Lights are back on, still no picture.

I don't know what the vbios number was before the flash, but now they are 80.04.92.00.02.

The instructions said to run the nvflash.bat. But there was only a nv.bat. Am I missing a file?

    Inside the bat it says:
    nvflash -4 -5 -6 049202.rom

Should I add more to it?

On step 7, is that it? Is something missing. And what I should and shouldn't do when bringing it over no matter how small it is? Should I have the hdd in?

Share info so I can get this working

I called xoticpc and asked about it and they said card may be incompatible. Is that true? The was the person was talking didn't sound very confident and his words only contained speculatory guesses and not definitive assurance. Eurocom is trying to charge me 150 more dollars for me to send everything to them (so I guess a warrantee means nothing these days). The first rep asked if I wanted to mail my card and ram in but I said that I didn't. And now I'm going to have to pay for everything if I turn it in. I sent an email to eurocom at 1 today and it is now 2:45. I'm trying to figure out what to do and everyone is dumbfounded that are supposed to provide assistance or are trying to swindle money out of me.

    edit:
Vid of my p370sm3 still working: http://youtu.be/yoQqmcKYD70

    Vid of the p570wm: http://youtu.be/Kj9LOxu7-NM

edit 2: there is a locking mechanism on the side of the p570wm. Would that have anything to do with it not turning on or does that just control the lid?

edit 3: nevermind, a tech saw the vid and said that the machine wasn't powering correctly so he issues me an rma.
