Need Sager NP5793 pics - Orange AND Silver trim from owners, for comparison

The time has finally come for me to buy the Sager NP5793 from www.xoticpc.com
As the title suggests, the pics shown on the XoticPC and SagerNotebook site aren't enough for me to decide which colour - silver trim or orange trim to go for. For me, they're both equally catchy and I'm not inclined to either of them.... so I'm finding it VERY hard to decide...
I request all owners to post pics of their laptops in either colour, so I get all the more photos to give me a better idea of how it looks, preferably in a home environment rather than the exclusive pics on the official sites... Please PLEASE post as many pics as you can.. Thank you!!

From what I've heard it seems that the silver trim looks much better in pictures than it does in real life. I've taken a look at the photos too and find the silver looking very tacky in them so I bet it'll look even worse in reality. Honest suggestion: stick to orange. I know I'll take the orange one if I get myself the M570TU a few months down the road.

 

Yeah I know... looks are subjective... and I keep reading comments in both directions.... yours towards orange, for example... and another saying how the new silver is much better, etc., etc... So just need loads of pics from owners to see and compare for myself.. :\

Yeah it does! Still wouldn't wanna miss out on the *new* silver trim if it DOES indeed look better.... need pics !!! lol This feels like I need a drug now..

Dude, try and decide from the pictures they have on their site. Honestly the silver trim isn't that bad, but I like the orange one better. The silver trim looks better in pictures, while the orange one looks better in real life .
If you're a gamer and you don't need to show off your laptop get the silver trim, otherwise get the orange one.

 

The silver trim doesn't look bad in real life. The complaint is that it makes your notebook look like a standard notebook whereas the orange trim makes it stand out.

VERY good point... I just realized the silver trim is like my Nokia N73 phone... very plain (still good looking) but has a professional touch to it....
The orange trim is unique... just "different" and something for an enthusiast!


Still, I'd love pics if anyone has them. Atleast thanks to this thread, I'm a bit inclined towards orange now!!

from what I have seen the silver trim also boasts a silver lid, which doesnt seem to look quite as unique

I prefer a black lid (well until I get a decal/paintjob)

the orange trim almost matches my orange/black sony ericsson w880i

 

Got a few pics of the orange trim 5793 in the show off your sager/clevo thread. I love the orange trim and didnt even think twice about getting it because it does set the notebook apart from the rest of the pack that are all silver and black. Hope this helps, good luck on picking a color.

 

Look at Eurocoms website, they have better pics than Sager...

 

Thank you all for your inputs! I've seen as many pics as possible and the comments about the uniqueness of the orange trim is what sets it apart.. and I most certainly am gonna go for the orange trim now!! Atleast thanks to NBR and this thread, I have little or no doubts about my decision!!

I got the orange....I think the best combo would be silver trim and black lid.

 

For me a the silver lid (which is like half black actually) and the orange trim would be the best combo! But I'm going with the orange one!! Your third pic is very convincing... thanks! I've already decided on orange..

Orange trim all the way dude!
I`ll post some pics of my own tomorrow also. But remember, I have videos with it on youtube, and I do a flyby of the laptop from all angles in the "updated firmware II" video

 

The orange trim looks to much like the Gateway P-Series FX laptops

It`s the other way around dude, the 579x was around way before the FX, ever since last year, at CeBIT.

 

Yes, Sager/clevo was out 1st!

Did have a chance to handle the Gateway FX? Lots of flex!

Oh my fault But then now since gateway "copied" the 579x people might get them confused and all hell and chaos could come about LOL

 

lol Here in Bahrain, the top laptops must be Dells with 2GB RAM and geforce 8400M, so it REALLY couldn't matter.. And thanks Eleron!!
