I have just re-installed Windows Vista 64 on my Clevo 860TU (clean install) and now I cannot connect to the Internet. It says it cannot find any connection, and the repair wizard is telling me that there are either hardware or driver issues with my Realtek network adapter. My ISP support stuff told me I need to install a network driver from the manufacturer. I went to Clevo's download utility, but I don't know which particular driver I need, and anyway 4 of the 5 drivers I downloaded are corrupt. I don't remember having this issue when I was installing the Vista Windows for the 1st time. I should ad that after installing the Vista OS I was going to upgrade to Windows 7. (I already had the Windows 7 upgrade installed before re-installing my OS. I decided to take the whole route - installing Vista again and then upgrading to W7 rather then doing a clean install from the upgrade disc.)
Any suggestions and help on the issue will be much appreciated! Desperate here!![]()

@ MrDJ!: The link saved my day. Thanks!
@ b0b1man: Made it to W7 ... all smooth and beautiful again (.. has reminded me how terrible Vista really is)
PS: Something perversely exciting about a new install. Smells like fresh sheets!
PS II: This community is invaluable. Thanks again. -
your welcome. glad it helped
