Is there a guide out there yet on how to take the Sager np8660 apart? I just need help on how to take the glossy part around the keyboard out if any body knows. Mine is badly scratched and it looks awful. I'm thinking about taking apart painting it silver to match the outer rim of the laptop or covering it with the carbon fiber film. Let me know if any body knows.

I am not aware of any disassembly guide for the 8660. If you are an experienced painter you can take out the keyboard and tape everything off you dont want to paint or possibly consider a solid colored skin for the trim?

The service manual for the Clevo M860TU (aka Sager NP8660) can be downloaded courtesy of Eurocom's product library directly from this link. That should contain the exploded diagrams necessary to dismantle the NP8660.

If I knew anything about painting, I'd paint only the inner rim of the bezel chrome to go with the other chrome accents on this notebook. But I wouldn't know the slightest thing I'd be doing :D
