this is more of an inquiry more than anything, ive been looking around the best gaming laptop under £2000, my first thought was alienware or the dell xps m1730 but after reading many a review from here ive decided to go with Sager NP9262 but need some advice.

firstly i live in the UK but dont really want to pay the over the top UK price, , so is there any other companies other than www.xoticpc.com that ships internationally, also as i wana ship from America wouldi have to pay import tax or any extra charge when its coming into the UK.

i was thinking of buying the Sager with only 1 512mb graphics cards so i can buy the laptops sooner, because of this can anyone tell me where to buy Geforce 8800gtx card.

also which is the best gaming CPU atm im thinking of the 3.0ghz, would the quad core 2.4ghz be better. and can anybody tell me what parts are upgradeable in the Sager.

thanx for any advice and info

im not sure about these but they may ship internationally

PCmicroworks(dun remember the site, should work if you just google it), powernotebook.com

you can buy the card seperately off of xoticpc for sure, and most likely powernotebook.com also (atm its 745$ seperate). for gaming you would get the most out of a dual core, but the quad core wouldnt neccesarily "cripple" your performance all that much. for practical purposes i would go for quad core.

in regards to the extra charge from shipping from usa to UK im also at a loss on this.

    hope it helped

Edit: oh duh, you can also try sagernotebook.com

I am in the Netherlands and got my NP9261 from www.sagernotebook.com.
For a lot of games the 3 GHz duo core (E6850) will be faster than the Q6600 and the Q6700.
