well the quad is better becaus... its a quad and it has twice the cache wich is very important. If money is not a concern, then go for the Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9450 2.6GHz w/ 12MB L2 Cache - 1333MHz FSB

It all depends on what you're going to be using it for, and whether you'd be willing to fork over the extra $$ later on to upgrade from the E8400 to a Q9xxx at a later date.

the turbo memory is not worth it. that is an incredibly powerful setup and will last you for many years.

Then you should go with the quad-core for the video-editing.

Don't need the Robson memory, not when ya already have 4GB of RAM in there. Don't need the Dead Pixel Warranty, very few units ship have dead pixels in them anyway (rare!). Plus, you got the 30 days warranty from Xotic to return it if you do find a dead pixel. You just gotta pay the shipping though, which ain't that bad.

Oops, my bad, you didn't opt for dead pixel warranty. How about a 3rd HD? Xotic has pretty decent price on the 200GB 7200RPM.
