    Hello,

I have been using windows 7 on np8660 for a while now but i am trying to get every thing working :D
Till now win7 has installed its default audio drivers which work fine but witout any options tat are avaliable with realtek hd audio drivers.
Also i am not able to get my fingerprint reader working. Rest all pretty much seem to work fine.

So it would be great if some one could post links to the latest
    1. Realtek HD audio drivers
    2. Finger print reader
    3. Latest intel chipset driver

    Thank you

    install the old vista ones?

i upgraded my vista install to windows7 and all my vista drivers are still working fine with my windows7... shrugs..

i do need to find a good 9800m GT windows7 driver for the np8660 that lets sleep mode work.. atm i only get it working 50% of the time <_> with Nvidia offical notebookrelease 178.48

really need sleep working now... dont care about performance just want a laptop back M_M ...

How did you get any video driver to work? I tried various versions, in vista compatibility mode, by pointing device manager at them and device manager still showed "VGA Compatible Device" (except the yellow ! was gone) as a video card. I assume that Windows 7 didn't fully install or recognize the video card, which points to an issue with nvidia drivers overall. Does your device manager actually list the card type (and a driver under the drivers tab)? Mine doesn't (yet it looks like video drivers are sort of installed, if I go by performance).

Edit: Nevermind, I got it to work with 185.13 laptopvideo2go drivers (their win7 drivers didn't work, nice).

On a side note, the official nvidia 179.48 notebook drivers apparently are responsible for random freezes on my system :( Stable since I uninstalled/rolled back to dox's, 3 weeks of hell.
