    Need original Clevo DVD drivers for P170EM

    Hi guys,

    Can anyone send me the original driver for AMD 7970M that came with the DVD, only want the driver that came with the DVD because other AMD 7970M drivers never worked on my machine (even the ones that are available on Clevo site or Sage), my DVD with the drivers failed me, so I'm kind of stucked.
    Just upgraded EC and also Bios to see if it changed anything, but it remains the same.

    newer drivers should work. if not try a safe mode install.

    you could follow some of my link below but change everything that says nvidia to AMD.

    Thanks for the reply, newer drivers never worked for me, and I tried to install many times, even with a fresh windows instalation( no previous drivers) they didn't worked and I can't understand why, but I will try your guide to update when I get home and will give you my feedback.

    Well it won't really be an update since I don't have the original drivers that came with the dvd :) but I will read your guide and will try it out :)

    In the meatime if anyone has the original AMD 7970M that came with the DVD I would appreciate :p

    just got my disc out but for some reason wont open on either of my clevo laptops so sorry but cant upload the driver for you :(

    who was your supplier? might be worth contacting their support to see if they can find you the original driver.

    Thanks for the reply people, just followed your guide and tried the drivers that Hutsady@XoticPC linked and it worked :), those are from Sager 24-May-12, tried the same method for the latest catalyst and I can't get it to work, maybe I'm missing something!!
    Anyway thanks for the help, if you have any suggestions I'm all ears :)

    How are you installing the drivers? Are you removing the old ones when putting the new ones on or putting them over the top?
