The only other thing I would do is up the wireless card to the 6230.

    Welcome to NBR!

You will need to achieve at least 5 posts on these forums. At 11PM EST you will get PM and Signature permissions. I also advocate the upgrade to at least the Intel 6230. :)

You need at least 5 posts to PM. Btw, if you don't need bluetooth I'd recommend the Bigfoot Killer N as your wifi card

I see that you didn't include OS, so i guess you will use Linux. If this is the case then I recommend not to go with Intel wireless cards. Ask to ship without any card, but to build the maximum antenna cables inside (there is 3 antenna for WiFi and 1 for 3G), and later find an Atheros card. The extra antenna cables will not hurt but, if for any reason you ned them, they are already here.

I actually have a copy of Windows 7 at home, so I don't need to have it pre-installed

Are you reinstalling it after having installed it on a separate machine previously? If so, make sure it isn't OEM - I was just reminded today that you can't move an OEM Win7 installation.
