So I've spent a while looking at the alienware m15x, and was pretty hardset on it, but then I started looking at Sagers \ Clevos.

I've been reading reviews, but I just want to see which would be the better buy: NP9262 with 512GB GeForce 9800M GT , NP5796 with 512MB 9800M GT, to run all of today's games on high to medium settings. Or would I have to splurge and get dual video cards?

Also, has anyone heard anything on the OCZ whitebook? I'm more of an ATI fan than nVidia, and the 3870's look like they would preform well in it.

I would wait till the Wbooks start shipping, then wait for the reviews, then make your decision.

Either of those systems would be able to play current games are high/max settings.

SLI cards are great, but some people do not have the budget for them.. which is why some just buy them with a single card, and get a second one later on.

The OCZ Whitebook (re-branded Arima W840 DI) has been making some stirs here in the forums since it looks great on paper and has amazing pricing.

If the reviews for it turn out mainly positive, it would be another great option, but until then I will withhold any judgements.
