For some reason modified bios don't work for my GPU!! :(

I keep on getting up complete freeze ups during gaming and i have to switch off the lappy by holding the power button!! :(

I tried a lotta modded BIOS but none of em worked for me as it should(and did in case of other ppl using it!! )

I went back to my stock eventually and everything is fine now!

I really needed a STABLE modded bios!!... seems like thats not a possibility(in my case) :(  :confused2: :confused2:

Pls anyone with a stable bios help me!

(P.S. - i noticed that the change in sub system ID didn't matter as the crashes in the game with bios of different sub-system IDs were same! so some prob with the modded BIOS?! )

The best you can do it to OC the BIOS you have now with a better values with nibitor IMHO.

Dunno why its only my notebook, that cant work with the same modded bios everyone else is using!!!? :(

have you tried using one of the modded bioses but reverting their values to stock (500/1250/800)? Just to ensure there isnt something screwy with the bioses you have been sent (not that theres any reason there should be).

Or trying them at say 550/1375/850?

Just to make absolutely sure, you arent OC'ing your cpu are you?

    Hi sohail99,

thats all very strange our RU's are very similar, same BIOS and VBIOS. The only thing what I can do for you is that I will e-mail you whole flash CD. Just get UltraISO and burn flash CD or mayby better as Rambo sad try to mod your own VBIOS. Let us know. I didn't OC CPU.

Thanks for the advise!! :) I'll try the stock clocks on those BIOSes!!
I didn't OC my CPU btw! I OC the CPU only while using the stock firmware(vBIOS)!

Thanks a lot man! :) I'll again check the BIOSes to see what happens now!

If it still crashes, then i'll do as theriko said and try to troubleshoot!!
All this'll take place with No cpu OC! :)

Thanks for the advise guys! rep+ to both! :D

    Nothing in the background man!
i double checked the processes again and again! none of em seem to use the cpu and total ram usage while idling is about 630mb!

The most odd thing out is that my stock bios with stock clocks and all is giving 9200 3DMark06 score!!! lol!

I really needed to take it beyond 10k!
As far as i've seen 3D Mark06 scores get a huge boost by increasing CPU OC!!

I'll take my T9300 to 2.8GHz with stock vBIOS and see what happens! :)
I've more or less given up on modded BIOS, as none of em worked for me!(till now! :( )
Though my search for a perfect vBIOS for my 8800m GTX will go on side by side! :)

Thanks and any more help will be appreciated! ;) :D

I am surprised. If I were you I would try to read your BIOS,increase the values and flash it to see what happens with nibitor.Seems like your card isn't in love with the new BIOS like mine.

it is very easy gto read your own vbios using gpu-z, just click on the little icon next to where it tells you your vbios version number

I am using the 177.79 and feel they are the best so far.You could try the 175.75(?) and 177.89.May be drivers dnt like the BIOS.Try a few of those and see what is the best.
