    Need to flash p150hm bios to p170hm for 7970m to work?

    Hi,

    I was told by a 7970m seller that I need to flash the p150hm bios to get the 7970m to work on the p170hm, is this correct? Anybody have any info on how to do this?

    I have a 7970M in my P170HM/NP8170, it is only the vBIOS of the 7970M that needs to be flashed, not the system BIOS of your laptop. Check this guide with information on how to do that.

    Right. You may need to update your system BIOS, if there is one available, but you do not need to mod it. Only the vBIOS on the card needs flashed. :)

    Yes i saw that, did you use the vbios in the post or the dell version? Thanks

    Also, are there any enduro problems anymore that i need to worry about?
