You can find out all about the VGA here: Video Game Awards | Computer & Video Games Awards | Video Clips You should be able to visit the site on your laptop.

This would be helpful, unless you really wanted the first link in my post.

i think he is talking about a dvi to vga adapter, as the m570ru only has dvi output.

Don't you just need one of these? (plus a VGA cable):

nVidia GeForce 9800M GT 512MB Video Card $715.00 Are you serious ???

nVidia GeForce 9800M GT 512MB Video Card (D90xC)

I've got a perfectly running 9800m GTS 1GB card, I replaced with an FX3700, I'll let go of for $450.00 in that case ! ;)

I bought a 9800m gs but the fan didn't work and the notebook starts beeping and then turns off

I was thinking about buying this Clevo M860TU Sager NP8660 Quadro FX2700M MXM ES Card - eBay (item 180614334270 end time Aug-16-11 22:01:28 PDT), but I don't know if it's compatible.

If it isn't officially supported how can it work ?

was the 9800GS a Clevo card?

I think that the card in ebay will recognized by the motherboard but you may have some issue like fan controls. No one can you tell you if it will work for sure unless he already tried a same combination.

Was a Asus card, I think that didn't work because of the fan control.
