Recently, I sent an email to Eurocom (mentioned in the Clevo guide) to inquire about price matching. The fellow there was rather amiable, and he offered me a former demo model D900C for a very good price.
Now, I have plenty of experience purchasing things online, but this seems atypical. Rather than have some automated form where I can simply fill out credit card information such as on Amazon, I was sent a "credit card authorization form" via email. The last email from him read:
Just fill in a new order, and make sure you fill in all the delivery info ect, and forward it to [email protected]. I would generally then respond with an e-mail which would send you the credit card form. I will however skip that and send you the credit card form now.
If you have any questions or issues, please let me know.
Is this normal and I'm being jumpy, or might I get screwed here? Anyone have any experience with such purchases?

That seems suspicious, I'd ask if you can pay through paypal or something

I sure hope they do Paypal.

I would never make a payment in such a way to anyone. No deal is worth that risk as far as I see it.
-
yea man.. dont do it

Don't do it
Just checked their site, they don't even have a secure way to check out. Credit Card over email - no way!!!!!!!!!
