@Kipcoo: Yes, there is an Advanced Options, but it doesn't include an option to turn off hyper-threading. Also, mine has the VT option, but it is disabled and cannot be enabled. I am back to the 1.00.10s BIOS from Sager, but I don't think there was any change in the Clevo 1.00.12 BIOS. I'm sure not going there again to find out.

Thanks, Pkhetan. You're probably right. The only thing is, the mySN BIOS seemed to work fine, and there was none of the "This copy of Windows is not genuine" business going on until after flashing to and operating with the Clevo BIOS. It could be that whatever triggers Windows to do a validation check just didn't happen while the mySN BIOS was loaded, so the problem escaped detection. I'm back to normal, including the Sager BIOS and flash screen, and have learned not to fool around with other BIOS.

    Have you see this:

"Update: New #BIOS Version 1.00.12GH and EC 1.00.10 for mySN® XMG7.c! Overclocking and Hyperthreading feature included!"

    - Why does it claim overclocking features?

That's what started the whole mess. It's all BS.
