The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Any idea when we can expect to start seeing reviews and benchmarks for the new Clevo Skylake Mobile Line?

    I thought I show an article from NBR speaking about the 6700HQ and the 6820HK vs the 5700HQ, but I can't seem to find that link anymore.

    I would expect that after the 15th (when a lot of new models should start to ship out, at least for Sager), then you would see some reviews shortly after that. With a lot of models, if there was a previous version of it (P650SE compared to P650RE), you can find out a lot about those models and what people think of the build quality, things like that. But yes, there will be some obvious differences with the new hardware. Hopefully we'll be able to get some video reviews up, as models become available.

    The Sager models start shipping on the 15th, So i was wanting to prioritize our NBR family for what review to do first :)

    Likely they won't be able to get posted till the end of the month, if the stars align, for us. Just have to get a review unit here, and then do the review and editing etc.

    Looking up reviews on the SE and SG models will give you a fair idea. Be on the lookout here on NBR (on the forums and outside of them) for new reviews! One or more may pop up before you receive an update. :vbsmile:

    I just ordered the P650RG as well. Just picked up an ASUS VG248QE 144Hz monitor a few weeks back and I have a mini displayport to displayport cable Wondering if this laptop will output above 60hz. I love that it has a G-SYNC display, but not sure of the max refresh rate. Can't wait to see what the hype is all about either way!

    Yeah, you should be able to do more than 60hz through mDP. Not sure if it is 120 or 144 though.
