175.95...
enjoy.

Thanks
Have you tried them and noticed any difference? -
thx man! I'll give these a try later tonight see if they help with some issues of FPS lag ive been having in cod4 lately.
-
So I decided to install these for fun, and for the very slim chance that GeForce PhysX might function (doubtful). Anyways, after doing the routine uninstall/driver sweeper/install new drivers, to my absolute amazement it works! GeForce PhysX ENABLED on an 8800m GTX! Refer to screenshot:

I'm not sure if this is blind luck or intentional on Sager's part for us NP9262 owners, but wow this is cool. Too bad I don't have UT3 to try out my newly found PhysX capabilities.
Also note that I left PowerMizer on (thus the low clocks in RivaTuner) for lower temperatures when browsing around. It does still properly revert to default clocks when the power is needed. Screenshot here:

This is marvelous. Must get UT3 ASAP. -
Nice... Install, reboot, BSOD, crash. With my sli sys. Gone back to 174.90.
-
Did you uninstall your cards, reboot into safe mode, run driver sweeper, then install the 175.95 drivers? I didn't get a BSOD after rebooting with the 175.95 drivers installed.
-
Always do a clean video driver install. Check some guides on the Internet on how to do that.
-
The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
Installing it,does the physx makes much performance difference?
-
Never had a problem doing that. One more thing, got an external monitor. Haven't tried the install with it disconnected, but then again, I shouldn't have to. No issues with any other driver other than this one.
Anyone else get this to work with 8800mGTX sli? Not interested in replies from single card setups, just sli.... -
Does anything else need be installed with this to get PhysX working? or just the Driver..
any 3dmark scores yet? -
PhysX is still not enabled in Vista64 with this driver, if anyone is interest.
Also, no ntune OCing with them either. Back to 175.75! -
You will need the nVidia Cuda Beta 2 driver alongside with these video drivers. You will also need the PhysX driver.
Cuba Beta 2 Driver >> http://www.nvidia.com/object/cuda_get.html
PhysX Driver >> http://downloads.guru3d.com/Ageia-|-NVIDIA-PhysX-System-driver-8.06.12-download-1964.html
Enabling PhysX: Start -> Control Panel -> nVidia PhysX (it may be labeled differently for you). Once the PhysX panel loads up, It will display some info (DO NOT PANIC WHEN IT SAYS "No Ageia PhysX Processor installed"). Go to the Settings tab. The option of "GeForce PhysX" should be selectable.
You might need to re-install the 175.95 driver after installing both the Cuda Beta 2 Driver, and the PhysX Driver. Like I said; I'm not sure if I stumbled upon blind luck or whether it is supposed to function. Prior to these drivers, I had been using the 177.41 driver. -
Just installed them, no problems so far. Running 3DMark now.
-
I've tried to do it as you said ( installing Cuda Beta 2 and the Physx Driver before) but, it still does not work.
I have a Sager 5793 and 8800 GTX using Windows Vista Home Premium.
Checking GPU-z, I've found that I'm using a different bios and driver version than yours.

Maybe it's vista. Did anyone successfully enabled GeForce PhysX on Vista??
Even though physx did not work, I had no problems with 175.95. -
My 3DMark06 score went up by just over 300 points with this driver.
-
Did you try enabling PhysX? I really want to know if I did not get lucky.
I am going to get UT3 this Monday then try the PhysX maps. -
over what drivers? -
I just got Physx working both with and without SLI in my D901C with dual 8700M GTs in XP 32bit with this driver and the Clevo INF.
Without SLI I have the GPU select option.
Physx has not worked for me with any of the 177 drivers I have tried.
Sorry no benchmarks but it is showing up in the Ageia panel again, finally. (last driver that I tried that said it was enabled for me was 169.28, lol) -
-
-
Okay, so Bill F was able ot get PhysX functioning. Anyone else have any luck? Or is it just us two?
-
Looks like just XP people so far. I tried again with vista64 and still nothing. *shrugs*.
-
Nope nothing on vista64 either, nice driver though,
-
\urg put the 177 drivers and instant downclock on my 8800, so far these 175.95 are the best I have used!!
-
Hi !
Work fine for me too. But unfortunately the digital vibrance has been disabled in the nvidia control panel, so my desktop is a bit dull...
Is there a way to get more vivid colors ??
All the best, -
Yeah these seem to be pretty good.... though I get pretty much the sam performance with most drivers that i have tried. I'll stick with these as they seem to be stable enough.
-
My Digital Vibrance is not broken. Which OS are you on, Ufoman?
-
-
-
-
Skidude, have you been able to get PhysX functioning on your NP9262?
-
The_Observer 9262 is the best:)
I have Win XP 32bit and physx works with 8800 with 9262,with CUDA drivers(link posted last page).
Thanks. -
You know the new certified drivers fixed a memory leak that was annoying me. I would leave my system run for a bit and after awhile it would basically start having memory errors. I uninstalled my old video drivers and loaded these new ones and now its fixed.
I didn't know where that leak was occuring. Now I do!
Thank you a ton!
-
not sure why it wont work.
-
-
-
-
Maybe it does not support vista x64 yet?
-
@Skidude, in your sig. "2x 8800M GTX SLI", you got 4 8800m gtx cards in your laptop?
-
Does this driver work with the 5793's? I notice most of the people in here have the 9262's. I'm currently running the 174.90 Clevo driver from May on Vista 64 Ultimate. Any extra FPS gain I can get would be more than welcome in Age of Conan.
-
-
But back to my post, does this driver work with the 5793's? -
I'm sure it'll work (I'm going to install it when I have a free minute)
Whether or not physx will work or what performance will be like is a different matter, but I would think yes/good perf as seen in the rest of this driver series -
Currently using it in a 5793, Tripfist - working fine!
-
-
Disconnected my external Dell 24" monitor and loaded up fine. For some reason, these drivers (and the new 176.02) will BSoD on install with an external monitor connected. Previous drivers did not have this problem.
