This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The name is just a placeholder, there are a lot of folks already there. Worth taking a look, there was a lot of effort put in bringing it up.

    It's just a real shame that this one is going bye-bye the way it is. In spite of the XenForo warts, it has been a great place to make friends and hang out and shoot the breeze about things we all like for a very long time. Many years of amazing technical stuff from lots of smart folks getting flushed down the digi-toilet as if it never mattered. That's pretty sad. But, I guess that's life in the wild, wild West. Tough tiddy said the kitty
