It recognizes my network, however whenever I try to connect it gives me limited access, saying that there is an invalid IP address and I will be unable to connect to the internet. It then takes my entire network offline, if you try to connect with any other laptop or wireless device it gives you a connection timeout error for the next few minutes while I think the router reboots. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

EDIT: Been working on this for hours now, ridiculously frustrating, I just want to use my new notebook, would be nice if it worked. Cant figure out anything on google, nothing seems to help. it. Anybody have any ideas at all?

What router are you using? Have you tried forcing your laptop to have a static IP vs. one generated by your router/dns server?

I have a Linksys WRT110. And no I haven't I tried that yet, doing that now, I'll post back with results. Thank you.

Edit: I was going through configuring options but before I had even confirmed any changes it seems to have fixed itself and gotten online. Weird. We'll see how it goes.
