The wife just called and said my new Pollux 1613 just arrived from Mythlogic that I ordered on July 5th! Its been a long wait, especially since I've been without a laptop since July 4th, but from everything I've read/researched, it'll be worth it!

So far so good. One question though. How do I enable the gesture and multi touch on the trackpad?

Did you just go ahead and install Windows 7 by yourself?

One more thing I just noticed, I can't seem to be able to turn down the brightness of the screen. None of the brightness options affect the actual brightness, even though it shows its at 0%

Multi-touch should be automatic, just double click the little touchpad icon in the system tray and you can configure all the gestures. For the brightness, that was for sure checked, you can also check in the BIOS (Tap F2 during boot) to ensure that it works there as well

    Thanks!

I don't have a touchpad in the system tray, looks like any synaptics or other software was not installed.

Just rebooted to bios to test the FN+F8/F9 and it did not work there either.

Hey, sorry about that, a victim of the UPS magnetic field, glad we got you working :)

For the others on the thread, he had two drivers that didn't work properly after the trip to him, once we got those reinstalled everything was good

I'd like to say a big Thanks! to Josh and the Mythlogic team. The new PC is running great, now that the driver issues were resolved, which I can't attribute to anything Mythlogic did. Everything is running great. I can't believe how fast thing thing runs compared to my now dead from heat stroke DV5T.
