    A few questions:

    1) Everything seems ok so far, but i had really hoped that going away from my 6 year old desktop would be enough to never see a bluescreen again. However, when i try to open nTune, that`s exactly what i get. Is this common?

    2) If someone can provide a link to a decent 8800 gtx overclocking guide, it would be much appreciated.

There is also a memory leak in the finger print reader software, so it eats about a MB pr. second.

    1. No. It's Windows related probably. Try updating the drivers with the one from Sager's site + update nTune + maybe get hold of a SP1 Vista copy (if you have Vista).
    2. Can't help you there, as I don't have nVidia anymore.
    3. What if you set up the software to only work for a Windows login?

Thanks. It seems like the finger print problem has been solved, even though i'm not sure why.

    I'll try ntune again

BSOD are most of the time driver related. My guess is that your video driver is not good or that the install was somewhat corrupted.
About OCing the 8800M GTX, are you really sure you want to do that? except for gaining a few more fps in crysis, all games can probably run at native without problems...
    Think about that.

It's the drivers installed by xotic. 715 etc. I found out it's only the nvidia monitor that crashes, not ntune itself. I'm unable to adjust anything in ntune though. No, it isn't really necessary, i just wanted to experiment with it. I'm at 9100 in 3dmark06, so it's ok for now ;)

The finger print reader is not fixed after all, probbably need a software update. I was playing css earlier, and it suddenly started lagging. I checked processes, and the blasted thing was using 2 gigs of ram.

But microsoft, man, they're still hanging in there with the blue screen

Not Microsoft's fault. Try the latest drivers from Sager or whatever people may recommend for nVidia now (LaptopVideo2Go is a good place to start).
