    Hey all,

I just didteched my MBP and got a new NP8150. So far it seems like a great pc. Runs a little hot but hat is nothing new when you have owned a MBP.

Although I am having some serious issues with iTunes stor enot showing up in iTunes. It just sits there saying connecting. Not sure if anyone else has had similar issues?

Maybe a stupid question, but is your internet connection working and is iTunes allowed through your firewall?

Do you have the Bigfoot wireless card? If so, there are known issues with their drivers and the iTunes store not working.

Go here; click the "drivers, BIOS, firmwares link and scroll down to "Chipsets & Cartes Wifi (Wireless)" and select Atheros from the list. Scroll about 3/4 of the way down that page until you see the "AR5001X, AR5002X, etc" header. Click the floppy disk icon next to the most recent drivers on the list to download. Uninstall the Bigfoot software and reboot. Windows will detect your wireless card but not install any drivers. Extract the drivers you just downloaded to a folder anywhere on your machine. Right click on Computer, select properties, then device manager. There should be a listing for "network controller" with a yellow exclamation mark. Click on update drivers, then browse my computer for driver software. Point the installer to the folder where you extracted the drivers you just downloaded. Let the installer do its thing, then use the Windows connection service to connect to your wireless network.

All your problems should be solved.

    Glad to help.

Lots of threads are popping up about the Bigfoot cards. Figured I'd link to the above solution in my sig to save having to re-type it. :p
