I've loaded all the drivers I could find, I have hotkeys under start up in program files, but I can't access the control center and when I click on hotkeys nothing happens (I've tried all the function keys too. Nada)

(Also, can't get any headphones to play. Can't for the life of me figure out why)

I also had problem with hotkeys on Server 2012 and wasted hours to fix their bug.

Anyway, the new hotkeys offer nothing that's not already provided by Windows. Don't bother.

    Not entirely true.

The hotkey driver also seems to tie directly into the hardware on some of the models. The 8258, 8268, and 8278 apparently require the hotkey drivers for their on-board amplifier for headset and the equalizer for the 2.1/5.1 mode.

Is your BIOS and EC firmware up to date, as well as the driver Hutsady mentioned?

But it doesn't seem to offer any special options.....

BTW if you know about .NET programming, you can decompile hotkey.exe and debug it. Last problem I had is the lack of some wireless COM DLL on windows server 2012, but recompile somehow fixes the problem.
