    :(

Sooo... what am I doing wrong here?

I've got a new NP8660 with a P9500, 4GB ram, and a 9800M GT on Vista Business x64. I just installed the 180.10 drivers from lv2go. I uninstalled the old drivers, rebooted and disabled driver signing, moved the inf into the extracted driver folder, and used "Have Disk" to install the new drivers. I think I should be getting a little better performance than this...

I installed the 178.13s before these, and had the same performance. What am I doing wrong?

    ETA - SM2.0 score 1576, SM3.0 score 2256, CPU score 691

Nah, somethings wrong there, I have the same setup and I get 9300. Do you find the computer itself to be sluggish in any applications or games?

    :D

Doh! Well that was dumb. I was poking through my power plan and found the processor was set to a maximum of 50% both on and off AC power. It would seem as if this setting controls the GPU as well. I fixed it and ran 3DMark again; I topped 9000. Thanks guys!! I'm much happier with my purchase now!!

ETA after gaming - THIS THING IS FRIKKIN AWESOME!!!! :D

Also, now my GPU has maxed at 80*, CPU at 73*/78*, and the HDD max is 48* (250GB Hitachi) with no cooler. Thanks again guys!
