I just got my NP9170 and I have been working on installing the drivers. I got as far as the Hotkey AP driver, and it refuses to install that and claims a fatal error (after that it says nothing bad happened to the actual system)
I haven't gone any further, because I have heard bad things happen when you do the drivers out of order.
Also, it says in the user manual that the drivers are supposed to grey out in the option menu after you install them, but this isn't happening for me.

Bad things? I think you should just install chipset drivers first, and then the rest. Why would the install order matter?

Don't worry about it. Just keep installing them drivers (those that you need).

Hotkey is of little importance in terms of install order. I would go to clevo.com and download the one they list there for your machine
New NP9170-Driver help PLEASE!!!!
