Running Windows 7, whenever I plug in any external hard drives it recognizes I plug it in, installs all the drivers, completes the installation, and then nothing. I cant access it anyway and wouldn't even know that it were plugged in except through device management where it shows up and is recognized fine. How can I fix this and access my files? Thank you.

EDIT: Additional information, it shows up in disk management as an unnamed drive, however I cant assign it a drive letter, the option to change drive letter is greyed out.
