    Sager has a new model up - the NP-5420. It's a 14" Pentium M-based notebook. Here's the link.

    Here's the specs as well:
I'm wondering why they are releasing a notebook based on the Pentium M as late as this (not a Core Duo/Solo based machine), the best explanation I can think of right now is maybe going for the value segment. It's certainly not the high-performance machines we're used to seeing from Sager, but it does look very nice and you get good build quality, and this is their smallest notebook right now. The next one up is the 5580.

    Cheers,
    Chaz

Interesting that you just posted this.

I just tried out this rebadged Clevo M540V (Sager NP-5420). It is definitely a notebook for budget conscious users. It, as well as other Clevo notebooks, was very solid in design.

The VIA PN800 + 8235M chipset on the notebook is a little interesting in that it just doesn't support only Celeron/Pentium M's, BUT...
    Supports:
    VIA C7-M Processor 754
      (1.50GHz, 90nm, FSB400, 128KB L2 cache, uPGA478)
    VIA C7-M Processor 765/785/795
      (1.60~2.00GHz, 90nm, FSB533, 128KB L2 cache, uPGA478)

The VIA processors are definitely budget processors, but get the basic jobs done... at a significant price difference than the Intel CPUs.

Its is not for early adopters or gamers tho. Nonetheless, another solid built for Clevo, I would recommend it over cheap Dell's anyday, LOL.

Yeah it's not the giant fighting robot I'm use to seeing in the Sager line-up. But it does look to be the same laptop, underneath the badges as the Alienware Sentia 3400 for about $200 (Or more less).
